Blog1: Men who inspire

For me, there was a man who inspired me very much. His name was Musk, the founder of Spacex and Tesla.
He is a scholar, a technology fanatic, and a person who wants to change the future of humanity. Musk’s goal in his lifetime is to colonize Mars, and everything else serves this. Mars did not have oxygen, and internal combustion engines could not travel, so the Tesla electric vehicle was invented. What is the best scale for Mars power generation? The answer is solar energy, so with SolarCity. The pressure of Mars is extremely low, but the environment is harsh, there are many storms, and it is impossible to build a railway, so he created a fully enclosed Hyperloop. And Space X, why not use a parachute to recover the rocket, and the Falcon rocket uses a propellant for recycling, because the atmosphere of Mars is too thin, and it is not realistic to use a parachute on a large scale.
I am inspired by his vision and action. He will become impossible. He strives to change the future of mankind. People today have empty vision and ambition, and imagination, but people who can really act and work for this. Very few. He has been accused countless times, but has not weakened his confidence in the slightest.

For me, how is it inspiring? Everyone is the same, everyone has their own unique ideas, but the power of action is not owned by everyone. When there is a person acting for the future of all humanity, and working hard for those impossible, it is for me Is instructive.

Blog 1: Robert Apachian

Robert Apachian was a young Armenian boy born in 1996 in Yerevan, Capital of Armenia. In 2016, Azerbaijan, neighbours of Armenia breached the cease-fire between Azerbaijan and Artsakh (Armenian province). With the province under attack and its people at risk for their lives, all male citizens between the age of 18-27 were required to take part in the military to protect our lands from Azerbaijan. Robert was in that age group and so went on to serve his country. In 2016, at only 21 years old, Robert Apachian gave his life to the country. He fought bravely and without hesitation, he was ready to put his life on the line knowing that he will be leaving his parents, little brother and classmates behind, and so he did just that.

Although this is a terrible and unmatchable loss for our country and for his family, there is a sign of hope & inspiration that can be seen when digging through the grievance. Robert was ready for the worse and that did not disturb him. He wanted to put everything on the line for his country, for his purpose, to reach his goal of protecting it, and he did just that. And this doesn’t only go for Robert, it goes for all of our soldiers, young or old, that are endlessly fighting to this day as you are reading this text. Armenia is not at all a rich country nor does it have any political power because of the limited resources it has to offer. It does not rely on another country to supply military equipment, rather it relies on itself and its people’s unmatchable love for the country to do anything to protect.

And that is exactly what inspires me. The ability to have a deep and very strong motivation towards a goal even if the obstacle in front of you is 10x bigger and more powerful than you are. The ability to persist even when you know that your military budget is 3x lower than your enemy and you still manage to keep your ground and protect your country. That is the mentality that Robert had and every single person in Armenia (man & woman) have. That is what inspires me, the ability to persist through an unthinkable obstacle, the same mentality that Robert Apachian had.

Blog 1: Men who inspire

The man that inspires me is my dad. Me and my dad have always had a unique bond, we’re so similar personality wise that we either fight like no other or we get along very well. He is a very caring, calm and often quite man, who is also full of patience and love for his family. Growing up, he has always intrigued me, because he, most of the time remained quite, as if he seemed trapped in his own thoughts. My mom told me it is because ever since he was a teenager, he had to take on huge responsibilities. His father died when he was only 18 years old, and him being the only guy in a family of 5, he had to become “the man of the house”. Sometimes I wonder what went on in his head during this particular time of his life; how he felt about the sudden loss of his father, and about his new load of responsibilities.

He is also a very hard working man, that dreamed big for his future. I still remember the day he told me and my mother that he wanted to immigrate to Canada; we didn’t have much money but him and my mother made it happen. As soon as we stepped in Canada, my dad didn’t waste any second and went on to find a job. This is how he was: a hard-working man that always wanted to make sure that his family had food on the table and a safe place/roof to stay. When he would come home, exhausted, after a long day at work, he would still spend time with my mom, my sisters and I.

For all of these reasons, my dad inspires me everyday to strive and work hard to reach my goals and to dream big. I have never really taken the time and thought about all he has done for me and never realized how much he inspired me, all I know is that, one day, I will give back to him. For all the love and patience that he has shown me and for all the hard work he has put in for our family, I will make sure that he gets nothing less.

In my opinion, an inspiring person is someone who lives life to the fullest and isn’t afraid to make mistakes. Also, someone inspiring will motivate you to do more and make you want to better yourself. That’s why the person I find most inspiring is my best friend. He beat his depression and anxiety and is now capable of living his life to the fullest. To me that’s a big accomplishment because he went from a very dark place to someone who is now capable of inspiring others. He constantly gives me advice on how to manage my stress and motivates me to surpass myself. He is a very perseverant, kind and empathetic person. And, yes, I know there are plenty of other men who have done extraordinary things for this world, but, sometimes winning the battle against yourself and slaying your own demons is just as great of an accomplishment as changing the world.

Stephen Hawkins, a man who was a cosmologist, theoretical physicist, former mathematics teacher at Cambridge University and author among other things such as being a great father, a fan of hitchhikers guide to the galaxy and well-known for his sardonic wit. Despite the troubles that he faced, including but not limited to his disability (motor neuron disease) and how that shifted people’s views of him, he persevered and made extraordinary contributions to the field of science, bringing a new perspective altogether.

On top of his primary career, he has starred in many films and television series. He also wrote children’s fiction in collaboration with his daughter Lucy. After initial hesitance, he became the face of disabled rights in the UK. He was quite the accomplished man, he even was able to experience zero gravity!

Inspirational to me means someone who by doing great things moves and motivates others to do better, whether no matter the scale. They would have to be passionate and knowledgeable about what they’re doing to further pass that on to others. He certainly did have these qualities and inspires me to pursue the things that I enjoy and care for.

Blog 1: Men Who Inspire

When I think of an inspirational man, I think of my grandfather on my dad’s side. I find him to be someone inspirational because he was a very smart man. He was someone that was not scared of doing mistakes, he would take his chances and if he failed, he would try to learn from his mistakes.

He fit into the stereotype we know today, as the man who provided for his family. His family lived in a rural area back in China. He went to the capital, Beijing, to study and stayed there for about a decade, coming back home only a few times a year. There, he studied to be an engineer, but he knew more than just engineering. During his free time, he would take a multitude of classes to expand his knowledge. You could say he had a hunger for learning. It was a “hobby” of his. To me, he was the definition of the saying “we learn something new everyday”. He had a very wide range of knowledge, covering things related to science, history, politics, art, you name it. He would later come to Canada in 1988 in search of a new start. Unfortunately I did not get the chance to know him really well as he died when I was 8, in 2011 at the age of 85.

To me someone who is inspirational is someone who is smart, someone that isn’t scared to make mistakes and wants to learn from them. I also admire someone who knows where they are heading in life.

Blog 1: The Old man That inspired me

Sadly, he pass away last year, but he was like a priest. Everytime he would see me when I was young he would pray for me and my brother. I don’t see him as much, even before when he pass away. But he kept praying for my success and to be honest I didn’t took school seriously. Then I thought of why would someone be so tempting for someone else. Then these questions comes up in your head.

Why is a man put so much time to a person who doesn’t really see them as offend then his own whole family.

Thoughts

First of all, You have to define man what does it mean? How do you become it? Well, I think we all know where this is going. A man who cares and put time and effort like father.

Sadly I don’t have any pictures of the fallen gentleman but I hope he’s in a better place.

I also can’t remember his first name but his last name was Gordon

Blog1: The boy who inspires me

The man that inspires me, is my boyfriend.

This boy is not scared of anything. He’s open minded and loves trying new things. Whether it’s a new job, going to new places or trying new food. See how most people don’t like changes? For example moving to a new house or going to a new school. Things like that don’t bother him. He’s so unbothered and a just to situation so quickly. Compared to me, my middle name is fear. But whenever I’m nervous or scared about something,he always reassures me that everything will be fine. My definition of inspiration is something or someone that motivates me in a certain way, someone I look up too. I also believe that, more than one person can inspire you. He inspires me to be fearless. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of him, he hates talking pictures .

Blog 1: Men who Inspire

The man who is truly a source of inspiration for me, is my dad. He has always been there for our family, and he makes sure that we don’t miss anything. Unlike most families, it is my dad who does the laundry and cooks dinner, thus going against all the stereotypes we have grown to learn. Also, my dad is my role model. He has a francophone background, but at university he decided to study in English, which was a major change and challenge. To follow his goals, he moved far away from his family and he completely immerse himself in a new environment. Despite all the difficulties he faced, he kept going and it paid off. I recently decided to follow in his footsteps, and enrolled in an English college. My dad has supported me throughout the whole process, always pushing me forward and encouraging me to keep going and do my best. So, I can confidently say that I am the person I am today mostly thanks to him.

In my opinion, an inspiring person is someone who sets an example for others, through simple actions and by encouraging them to work harder and keep going. Being inspirational means helping others succeed and wanting the best for everyone. It’s usually someone you look up to and admire, just like me with my dad.

A man who inspires me would be Kim Namjoon also known as RM, from a Korean boy group, BTS. He has been a big inspiration to me. He is a smart, humble, genuine young leader rapper. I admire him from his hard work, his passion in music and how he speaks his mind and how he connects with people. At his young age, he’s writing songs about self-love, self-acceptance and self-reflection then uses his platform to send positive messages to the youth and that has a big impact on people like me. Somewhat, I learn that music has no language barrier because it is a universal language and that music makes everyone unite. Not only he speaks up for the youth, but he also comes forward and takes actions. In fact, he even spoke for the Unicef telling young generations about his story and to speak themselves. Here are some of his words: β€œTell me your story. I want to hear your voice, and I want to hear your conviction. No matter who you are, where you’re from, your skin colour, gender identity: speak yourself.”

To me someone who is considered to be inspirational is someone who is true to themselves, who is living their passion and making people who looks up to them realize that dreams do come true if you work your way to it no matter what.
